I got a 12" tear in the straight part of the pan, high where it really shows. I was able to go to go to Scotties and get a piece of aluminum valley material (the kind they use on roofs). I just slipped it up under the rail and pop-rivited it on the bottom. Looked like it was always there after I painted it to match. Did the 20 minute job in about an hour...Bill
