Re: [A/S] Re: Hook ups???

We have a 31ft A/S and used the catalytic heater last winter in the
foothills of the cascades. Temps would drop to 30 degrees at night and we
slept just fine in regular sleeping bags. Ours is unvented so we have to
leave the roof vents open both to provide fresh air and to help vent out
moisture. H2O is a by product of the propane. I'm considering replacing the
old cat (its 27 years old) with a new one that can be vented to the outside.
Friends of ours have a cat that is vented and they don't have the moisture
problem. It can be a problem! If we don't open the vents far enough it rains
inside on a clear night!  :(
To help move the heat we open the rear bedroom vent more than the front
vent. It works for us, I may never fix the furnace.
