>1. Tires and wheels - Use only an ST (Special Trailer tire and nothing less 
then    a D rated (8ply) for single axile trailer.  If you have split rim 
wheels get rid of them and get rims rated to weight of trailer.  Be 
careful about tire and wheel size as the trailer wheel wells may not take 
them.  Go with a  dealer who will guarantee a fit and have them put tires 
and wheels on to insure fit.

>2.  Battery - Use at least type 27  marine/rv batteries and I prefer the 
sealed batteries.  Although they are not totally sealed they do not emit 
the gases that conventional batteries do and simply make sure your 
compartment is vented to at least the inside of trailer.  Also you don't 
have to worry about the water levels and this convenience is worth a few 
dollars more.  Some may have other opinions on  this.  Preferably have  
the batteries in front half of trailer so you can  compensate for weight 
thru your weight distribution  hitch system.  Inside location is fine. 

 Solar power:  Have at least two batteries and two solar panels (one for 
each battery) rated at least 50 watt, prefeably 75.  You can mount them 
on top if you have the room or have a rack you can place them in to sit 
on the ground which gives flexibility in adjusting to the sun.  Don't 
plan on using power like you do at home regardless of how large the solar 
system is.  Get used to carefully using power.  Go to a reputable solar 
dealer for installation unless you know what you are doing.

 but you already have a pretty good solution to dry camping with the 
porta potty which is about a portable a dumping station as you will find. 
 An extra fresh  water tank is good idea  and you can get them thru any 
RV dealer although other alternatives aslo  exist. For pumping purposes 
simply get a bilge pump from a boating dealer, much cheaper then an RV 
pump.  I simply had a cord I could plug into cigarette lighter and 
plugged/unplugged to tunr off and on.   Used a clear 1/2" vinyl tube 
material into traler tank.  Slow but go the job done and whats the hurry 
anyway.

>7. The bed - 
 in the old days I guess everyone was smaller as that 47" inch bed was 
considered a double bed.  Suggest you use each as a single bed unless you 
really like to cuddle..  I assume the front serves as a couch also.  You 
might do a little converesion in the back so you can convert the bed  
into a couch also.  Gives you more seating  and takes away that bunk room 
feeling those four foot beds give out when not in use.
