Rewiring the local campground to give true 50 amp service to each
pedestal, I estimated cost about $225 for the pedestal, and $775 for
service equipment and wiring to keep the voltage drop to 7 volts with a
50 amp load on the longest run. Needed wires the size of a small broom
handle (4/0 aluminum). And some places that size wire only supports two
pedestals because of the voltage drop on the long runs.
