I'm a little afraid to mention this, since I don't want to start a long thread on gun laws ...but... Someone (a participant, not a presenter) at a caravanning seminar in Bismarck said that the Canadian customs people may search your RV for contraband (and, of course, they may not). If you have *not* declared a handgun (which they will take and return to you when you re-enter the USA), and they find one, they confiscate your whole rig. Seems like a high price to pay, if he was right. - Dick (5368)
