[A/S] Be Sure who you allow to work on your A/S Motorhome

Well, we have finally gotten all the bugs out today, and this week-
end we are setting sail on our first extended trip - leaving SC and
heading for Maine, Via I-84-84 and I-91 up into New Hampshire and
over into Augusta Maine.  On through Canada through Montreal and West
and crossing back into US near Saute Ste Marie, down Michigan to Ohio
(Air Stream Factory) and  through Cincinnati and Tennessee, back
across Georgia and home.
   Questions:
      1.  What kind of problems will we encounter on entering Canada
with a Motor home? We have already surmised that we will have to
leave our handgun at home, and get health certificates on our dogs,
but don't know about any other special things.
      2.  Does anyone know if we need an appointment top visit
Airstream Headquarters, and have some minor work done on our
Motorhome when we reach there?

In getting the bugs worked out, we learned that non-
knowledgeable people had worked on this vehicle - installing the
wrong guages and meters, doing more damage than the original problems.
We believe you should really  not let anyone work on an Airstream
except authorized dealer personnel, no matter how minor the problem
is.
Will appreciate any info we can get,
Dr Joe and Winn    (Novice Streamers!)
