Re: [A/S] Brake
Jim,
I took my '63 to a horse trailer repair shop (last year) and had the
hydraulic changed out to electric for about $400. The cost was a bit high
due to needing two new drums w/the proper magnetic pick up strip on the
inside edge of the drum (your existing drums don't have this pick up point)
but this included all the backing plates, coils, wiring and a new plug at
the hitch.
Oh ya and ( just as RJ eluded to) I definitely left the dinosaur hydraulic
on the tongue for good measure. It's been my opinion if it says RV it cost
more so try the local horsey place. good luck, Paul
