Mike,
 It's unlikely that you'll find a 12VDC A/C unit, as they need lots of
power to run the compressor. Even a 1/2HP motor would draw something
like 60 amps at 12 volts. What IS found is an A/C unit with both
evaporator and condensor fans running from 12VDC. Such units are used on
construction equipment cabs, but the compressor is mounted on the
engine.
