Not sure, I've never considered towing with one.  I have an idea it's the 
early 90s ones that people tow with. 

Part of the problem with the new cars is they have unibody frames instead of 
real frames.... the frame is what you are attaching the reciever to....  
obviously you want the "old" kind.

As someone who has owned 6 Suburbans...  they are so handy, you just can't 
beat them for versatility and comfort.
