[A/S] Putting WBCCI numbers on

Hi, everyone:

     LOL...Black's classy, red's not...I'm partial to blue myself.

     Seriously, putting those sticky numbers on is a trial.  I've 
heard that you can use a dilute detergent solution that allows you to 
move the numbers around until they are right.  Is that how it's done? 
 I've put three sets on the hard way - dry - with mixed success 
(naturally clumsy).  If the detergent solution is the right way, do 
the numbers stick as securely as when put on dry?
