Check your policy again. There may be a wording there that refers to "newly aquired automobiles" In Ontario all policies have this clause that basically gives the owner of a "newly aquired automobile (read trailer) a short period of time (10 days) to insure his new vehicle during which time it is insured for certain perils. Give your insurance company a call.
