Scott, welcome aboard. Any woman who makes such a request is a Gem. Hang onto that wife of yours,
she's a keeper. With her attitude and your restoring skills, it's going to be a grand adventure. 

More and more of us are using a vintage tow vehicle to tow a vintage Airstream. You are correct
about searching for a smaller one. Look for name plates like Cruisette, Bambi, Bubble, Pacer,
Clipper and Globe Trotter. 

Other members on this list will mention more names and someone will probably have all the weights
for you. The Cruisette at 1400 pounds is probably among the lightest. The Globe Trotter weighs in at
close to 2000 pounds. Light weight usually means no tanks or toilets. There are a variety of "work
arounds" for dealing with that. When you are ready, rattle the Airstream List's cage.
