Somewhere on the www under airstream maybe on tom Patterson pages was a place selling a aluminum bracket that you could rivet to the top of your AS. And as far as why you would want one in the trailer its the same as your phone people like to be at home and shoot the breeze with their friends. And it makes for good communication with a group such as a rally instead of running from trailer to trailer.
