A little of both actually, Bob.  Please forgive my ignorance vis a vis the 
geography; I had no idea that Santa Fe and Santa Fe Springs were different 
locales.  As to my reason for searching my "silver sausage's" roots - it's 
really my dad's idea. He's curious about how our trailer made it to Alberta. 
  Having said that, when we bought the Ambassador "bunkhouse" model, it was 
missing much of the millwork in the front of the trailer, and so I want to 
know how it is supposed to look.  My dad crafted and installed most of the 
cupboards on the front curbside, and all the shelving and tables that 
surround the sofa (which is factory).  Despite much searching, I have yet to 
see another 28 foot Airstream, of that year, with the factory-installed 
bunkbeds and accompanying living area (exception being John Darling's of 
California; regrettably, Jon hasn't checked in with the List in a very long 
time).

And so, to make a short answer long....I'd like to find info about our 
trailer, for both interest purposes and restoration purposes.
