Nope,

I was indeed writing about two-piece air conditioning units. 
Mitsubishi has a broad product line of these type units out but even 
their smallest units @ 8000btu require 5000 watts of power to run, 
so, sadly, it looks like a no-go for putting one in a travel trailer.

I am now leaning back toward a DuoTherm Penguin heat pump 13.5kbtu 
model (1800 watts) unless someone comes forward with an alternate 
success story or recommendation.

My deadline is to get something going this week as I leave for a two 
week desert campout on Sunday.
