I agree completely regarding the dangers of mixing excess speed, trucks, and
passenger cars.   FAA and aviation solve this problem through severe
segregation.   Different air-route structures for different types of
aircraft.   "Heavies" (Most all commercial aircraft...747, 737, etc) don't
fly in the same airspace as private aircraft...they are segregated by speed
and altitude.  You very rarely have aircraft-to-aircraft conflict which
isn't controlled and which doesn't happen at transition points (airports,
etc).  If we had these same types of controls and restrictions on the
nations highways you'd have a lot less calamity out there.   Can't do that
though, I have a Constitutional right to drive like a total ass...
...don't I???
My question though pondered how the big rigs maintain a reasonable stability
towing multiple trailers at the same time.
