I put hardwoods and tile in my '67 Caravel. Super easy to maintain and it
gave a little separation to the galley/sitting area. You never have to worry
about what people track in.
You can see at the below link. I've made many other improvements such as
refinishing the wood, putting in all in latches, hardware, etc. since those
photos were taken, since that was about 5,000 miles ago!
