Boy am I glad you came out of lurkdom...what a great post!!  

I'm glad you had such a great weekend.... the trailer sounds wonderful.

As for putting down tiles, the seams should cause no problems if they are 
installed properly.  The seams should be glued down tight and flush up next 
to each other..... another option is a big sheet of linoleum.  My friend who 
bought my old trailer had the big sheet installed in it. Looks great, but so 
should tiles.

I have a question for you and everyone who has blinds.... it may not be for 
you if you don't have the same kind of window.  I want to switch the pull 
down shades to wood blinds.  My windows have the slider things on the side 
(see photo) .... do I measure blinds to fit inside these things? Or... should 
blinds be wider than the whole window including the frame?
