Yes.  There's a vehicle travelling around the US (a diesel engine domestic
van, I believe) that runs entirely on recovered fast food grease.  As I
recall from the story I heard a while back on NPR, they do have some
olafactory preferences as to french fries vs chicken vs fish, but as far as
the motor's concerned, it makes no real difference.  I think they have a web
site.
As I think about it, there could be a curious synergy were they to hook up
with the guy touring the country in his 'Toaster-Stream'
