[a/s] Hot day in Oceanside

It shot up to 80 today which is very hot for this town on the waters 
edge.  I left my 66 Safari's windows open but did not turn on the fans, and 
took off for work.

When I returned the inside of the coach was 85 degrees.  So I turned on the 
air conditioning and fans and it came down to 82 degrees.  So then I decide 
to close up all the windows and just let the air conditioning do it's job. 
The temperature shot up to 90.  Air was coming out of the A/C but it wasn't 
cold.

Is there anything I can do to make the old unit colder?  it seems to run 
beautifully.  Someday I'm going to pull the coach away from Oceanside and I 
will really need that cooling based on what I see happening across the country.
