CAniteOwl    I just loooked up my trailer registration for a 64 soverign that I
have been licensing in CA for the past 20 years and it was $67    are you sure
they don't think it is a MH.....I know when you 1st bring a out of state
motororized vehicle into CA you pay a
stiff fee.....It sounds like somethng is out of kilter  you won't find out if you
don't ask.  One year my old IH Travelall (dont have it anymore)  got a real high
bill and went to DMV and they had made an error     Where in CA are you
