Hi Bob:
Obviously the dent has been there long enough for the metal to have gained a
memory. Please note what John has written in his message. Then, pull the
dent out with the suction cup while having someone else watch very closely
from various angles to see where the metal "creases" when you are pulling
the dent. USE YOUR HAND to gently tap on the crease while pulling the dent
out. Don't force anything. If you are talking about the apparent dent in the
picture with the fencing, I suggest that you tap gently on the seam above
the dent. Probably the metal has been pulled from under the rivets and along
the seam.
Good luck, and be very gentle. No one will notice the dent as it is, so...
