[a/s] What Kind

Hi -

This AS was at Jackson Center when we dropped ours off.  I took some pictures of it as it seemed lie a 
pre-Avion Avion.  Seemed a better solution to the problem than what is the current one.  What is this 
model called and when was it made.  I also recently saw one just like it   --  maybe the same one but 
repaired  --  driving northeast on I-88 in NY state.
