Thanks Bob.  There is no clear coat on this a/s.  It's a '63 that sat on a 
ranch neglected for over 12 years.  In fact when I found it, it was covered 
in green moss. 

But thanks for the caution.  I've not been in touch with any airstream refurb 
experts, but I have been coordinating with vintage aircraft experts.  Pretty 
much the same.
