[a/s] '76 Land Yacht Cracking Vinyl

Two weeks ago I purchased a '76 land yacht so that I can travel with really 
small children to grandmother's house and back with fewer stops in public 
restrooms and expensive hotel stays.  It seems like a good idea, truth will 
tell in August.

I have been looking at the Bambi (?) redesign as it has been posted, and it 
looks pretty good to me, (though costly rehabs are not practical with the 
small people in my life.)  Our interior is all original, right down to the 
carpeting, and the "Peter Max" style printed shade in the bathroom.  While it 
is in fairly good condition, it leaves something to be desired aesthetically. 
 Additionally, the vinyl one-piece dome in the front has several cracks in it 
which I would like to either repair as inconspicuously as possible, or cover 
up completely.  Has anyone tried wallpapering these things?  (I do not mean 
to offend any purists.)

 I wish that we had gotten something older because our unit has vinyl bonded 
onto the interior aluminum, so I can't just pull the stuff out.

If anyone has any suggestions for rehab of a trailer of this era, and 
specifically, how to tackle the problem with the front dome, please let me 
know.
