Many thanks for the recommendations.  I just talked with Jackson Center, and based
on the newness of the unit, they said they would cover the repairs.  I will keep
the list apprised of the repair and reimbursement process.  My faith in Airstream
is restored.


Apparently, the only thing that holds that fresh water tank on is the metal pan,
and that is secured by self tapping screws into the floor.  The side that let go
had two holes in it where the screws had either stripped or fell out.  Clearly not
enough!

I am not sure that the folks in Jackson Center follow this list, but they
certainly are aware that it exists.  I mentioned  having raised a help querry, and
somehow the decision to cover the repairs was made without much fuss.
