Re: [a/s] backing a trailer

Don, haha....When I pulled our first trailer home, I
promptly got too close to the house and hit the rain
gutters. Later that week I backed into a tree. Mary
was standing behind the trailer telling me to stop.
Being really intellectual we figured out that the hand
signals dont work if we cant see each other... 8-)

The trick to hooking up the Hensley is that the hitch
bar and the receiver must be at the same angle as well
as the same height when you back into it. Allthough, I
have hooked it up numerous times alone, it's usually
easier for us if Mary gets behind the wheel and I do
the directing and etc. I think that the new owners
manual is better than the one that I have in that it
provides some tips. Will be glad to answer any
specific questions, on or off the list.

Good luck...Lee
