The discussion seems to be drifting towards the perceived quality of the AS and how it will last 
over time, if, as Don suggests, the coaches are well cared for.  For years I road a Beemer, which 
is also of great perceived quality.  But even among the riders of the bikes there always was the 
question of whether hey were better or just better cared for.  Maintenance can make all the 
difference in the "quality" of an object.

Even the best of anything can falter if abused, and junk can be kept running for a long time.  
THere are still Jugos running.

Maybe AS owners are a lot like Beemer owners, they just take better care of what they own.  But, 
I think, that the AS, like the Beemer, is a wee bit better to start with.  How much better is a 
pretty subjective appraisal.
