Norma,
Why not head for the coast,  On Coastal Route HWY 1. There are beautiful
spots like Mendocino where "Murder She Wrote" was filmed, trully looks like
a New England village, a gorgeous state park on the Little River, Van Dam
State park where the Little River meets the coast and than there is charming
Fort Bragg just 10 miles north.  I lived in the Napa Valley for 20 years and
know how hot Berryessa can get!
