You might have a corrosion problem in the lamp sockets.  Try some spray 
solvent like LPS or WD-40 and a pencil eraser to clean up the contact points 
in the sockets.

Spray the sockets and them rub them with the eraser until they are bright.
Check for voltage at the socket with a multi-meter, a $15 meter that you can 
buy at the local hardware or car part store is adequate.  

Also check the connection where your tow vehicle connects to the Argosy.  You 
could have corrosion or bad wire connections inside the connector body.
