Don,
	When I got my 66 Safari it had two layers of carpeting.  The odor was
soooooo bad that my girlfriend wouldn't go into the unit.  I scraped up the
two layers and got beautiful linoleum tile in perfect shape.

Since then the trailer has a fresh and airy feeling.  I would recomend that
you look at the existing tile.  If it is no good than consider installing a
tile floor.  Another very clean option that I have seen is the wood flooring
that you can buy in packages at Home Depot.  Then if your hellbent for
fabric, put throw rugs or runners down the center.
