Re: [a/s] Jackson Hole, WY - June 10th, 2000
Hunter,
We spent 2 weeks in Jackson last fall. I saw moose every time I went over to the
Wilson bridge area to fly fish. Wilson bridge is only 5 miles out of town on the
road that you would take to Teton Village, just don't off to the village, keep
going straight. There is a good restaurant a little ways passed the bridge, and
a great old country store across the street.
Don't miss breakfast at Jedediah's House it is killer. It is one of the best
restaurants in town for any meal, but breakfast is the best. The sourdough
starter they sell there that is 100+ years old is in my Sunday morning pancakes
each week.
If you like to shop in second hand stores, Mary and her sister found a mission
store some place in town that had the high quality stuff you find in town for
about 1/4 the original price.
We traveled for two months, and Jackson Hole was my favorite place on the entire
trip. We stayed at the Virginian Camp Ground in town the last week they were
open for the season.
I could go on for quiet some time about the neat things we saw in the area, but
have said enough.
Enjoy,
Joe and Mary Scudder
