an FYI. At the Sarasota Rally, I bought 12" backing plates, and complete
assemblies for $40 or $50 per wheel. The install is then
easy.
I mentioned replacing the brakes in this manner to a friend of
mine and he said, "good luck getting the bolts off".
Is he talking about the bolts holding the backing plate to the
wheel assembly? Could there be a problem with corrosion there which could
give a do it yourselfer a hard time?
