Hi Don:
The light covers can be purchased from an Airstream dealer for about $10
each. 
You can remove the vent covers from the inside by removing the two nuts on
the swivels (one on each side). The next trick is to get the cap down where
you can work on it. If you do not have a ladder that is tall enough, tie a
string to the cap from the inside, and throw the cap over the side of the
trailer. Drill off the old plastic "skylight", and then rivet a new piece of
plastic (or metal) onto the cap. Be sure to use caulking!. Fasten the cap to
the string, pull it up into place, and reinstall the nuts, Be careful not to
lose the two little springs, or your vent won't auto-level as you open it.
