Re: [a/s] Hitch & Equalizers

George I'm sorry but I have to diagree.
When I towed my trailer with a 3/4 ton Chevy I did use an Eazylift sway
control but no equalizer bars even though I had them because when hooked up,
Causing the tow vehicle and trailer to be one unit not only did I feel the
bumps that the truck went over but those that the trailer went over and
didn't like the double jarring since I have a neck problem. Because of the
streamlined shape of my AS I found that when semis flew by me the sway was
minimal conpared with the the Boxed shaped 27' SOB brand trailer I had. I
know you guys are going to think I've lost my mind and a danger to others
on the rodad, but I tow my Overlander with My LTD using only sway control and
airshocks. I have a level rig and I don't have to manhandle the spring bars
and hooking up is so much more simplified. This rig also has minimal sway
when semis pass me, I have always felt excellent control since my car
wheighs more than my trialer and I love the cushy limo ride.
