let's not forget something I've always heard. may or may not be true, but 
sounds reasonable. Manufacterers underate tow capacitys for liability 
reasons. I've always heard the best for towing in a big truck. BUT because 
Americans don't (as a rule I guess) really know how to shift properly, the 
give the manuals LOWER tow ratings....????
