	But- I bet that the birch *was* a laminate. A laminate is one material
"laminated" to another, as oposed to "solid" construction.. i.e. "We have
solid wood cabinets".

	Also, I would stack a "high pressure" laminate against any "natural"
material for weight to strength- witness the popularity of Pergo type floors.
