I'm the one who brought up liability... Common sense tells me that you would be vulnerable in court if you were pulling a 10,000 pound trailer with a car rated to tow 2,000 or even 5,000 pounds...and you had a wreck. A laywer would have a field day and who on a jury wouldn't think...hmmm...... Hunter
