My Dodge 2500HD (commonly called a 3/4, but not called that by Dodge) has a
tow rating of over 13000 pounds. My 34 foot trailer has a weight rating of
8900 (I think). It's weight is probably pretty close to that when I am on
the road. The Dodge engineers back at the factory think I am AOK, which has
also been my experience so far.

You will just have to live in it a while to see how it fits your family.
The sofa converts into a second bed, so fitting in an extra bed may not be
necessary. The AC should handle the heat OK in most places unless the roof
insulation has shifted (I saw that once in a '76 Airstream). Same for the
milder winter cold. In Alaska all bets are off.
