With respect, Tom, Ford (and GMC) must be overly cautious in order to avoid any remote possibility of giving the laywers more feed, so they say 3k miles. And please list the conditions they cite - probably whenever overheating has occured, when operating in unusually dusty (offroad) conditions, racing. Right?
