I am replacing the black water tank in my '65 Caravel and have decided to add
a 2 inch slide valve to the gray water side so I can use the Sewer Solution.
Boy, I am glad this subject came up!

Anyway, check out the Sewer Solution web page - http://www.sewersolution.com/
- and look at the IMPORTANT SERVICE BULLETIN! section.  You may have the
broken adapter they speak of.  They will replace it at little or no cost.
