Judy,

I used Carnuba wax on a small test section, and it did not turn out
well. It streaked the first time water came into contact with it.
Although you might not notice it unless you know where that section is,
I do. So I would advise against using Carnuba wax. Your husband probably
is thinking about using it because it has no abrasive in it and
'theoretically' will not harm the surface.
