Norma Don't Give up,
Sell the Bambi and buy a vintage Airstream.  The ones from the fifties and
sixties weighed almost half  of what your newer Bambi weighs at the same 18'
to 20' size,  and many have even better floorplans that the new Bambi. As
far as wheel base length goes, a good equalizing hitch can help greatly.
