Thanks John. It seems strange that Chevy and Ford to not know the weights of 
a ton doesn't it. Are do they put those numbers on to keep the general public 
confused? I have my misgivings about towing the 34' very far with the burb, 
but my husband says it will be OK, just slow in the mountains. I guess we 
will see. We are both retired and can't afford to invest in a new tow 
vehicle. However, he says I am still young enough to "get a job". LOL.
