Would sure increase the ground clearance ... and raise the position of the hitch
ball.  Would they fit in the wheel wells?

My 28 foot Argosy motor home (on a "modified 1 ton" GMC P30 chassis, dually, and
weighing road-ready just short of six tons) uses 8R19.5 12 ply tires (load range
F).  But that size is factory original (though the originals were apparently
bias ply rather than radial).

I don't get anything like 300,000 miles on a set of tires, though <G> ... how
the heck do you get 300,000+ miles on a set of tires (meaning the rubber is
wearing hardly at all) and still have any traction?
