[a/s] Getting ready to tow

Fellow aluminum addicts,

Finally I am on the verge of ordering a (more powerful) tow vehicle.  I
have two issues on which I would appreciate the advice of those more
experienced than I:

(1) I anticipate purchasing a Ram van with 5.9 l engine.  Which axle
ratio`should I go with: 3.55 or 4.10?

(2) Docking it at home will require this neophyte to manuever in an
imposingly tight space: backing 90 degrees to the right into a slightly
inclined driveway, then about eighty feet up the driveway through a 9.6
foot wide gate straight back between a house and a fence, into a parking
spot on the grass.  As an addict, I am terribly afraid of scratching --
or heaven forfend, denting -- the object of my affections.  How to
cope?  Should I buy one of the motorized dollies (for example,
Powercaster or Power Mover) advertised in some RV magazines? 
Alternative suggestions?
