This may not be applicable to your situation, which I gather pertains to a
trailer, but on my motorhome there is a large rectangular plastic tray
underneath the drain plumbing, held in place by a disgustingly large number of
sheet metal screws and pop rivets.  Removing this pan provides access to the
drain valves and pipes.

Replacement drain valves are available at most RV supply stores.  You need to
check the type and size so you get exactly identical replacements.  Then there
are basically two possibilities.  Some valves have a flange which is bolted to a
matching flange on the pipes either side.  In that case you just have to undo
the bolts, remove the old defective valve and install the new one.  There is
probably a gasket or O ring seal and you will want to replace that too.

Another possibility is that the valves are glued onto the pipes.  In that case
you will have to cut them off, and glue new ones in their place.  This is not
difficult but I would be inclined to get professional advice to make sure I got
it right (cutting in the right places, etc.).  ABS cement is unforgiving, it
sets up almost instantly and after that the joint cannot be moved.  Practice
with some scrap pieces of pipe ... you can buy the ABS pipe and fittings at Home
Depot and similar stores.
