[a/s] Wax off

When I first got my Excella last year and it was sitting beside the
driveway, I washed it and did all of those sort of investigative
cleaning things. One of the things I did was use some carnuba wax (no
abrasive) on about a 2 sq. ft. area  below the curb side bedroom window.
This was a test to see how it would look, work, etc. Well, it didn't
work very well. The first time water ran over the area streaks appeared
and the are still there. There was nothing wrong with the appearance of
the finish before, but now this small area has a cloudy streaked finish.
It is not extremely obvious, but I can see it every time I look at it
and think about how stupid this experiment was. Does anyone have an idea
about how to remove the wax without damaging the finish underneath.
