[a/s] Airstream/Argosy Search

Having finally decided to pursue the search and purchase of an
airstream/argosy (I'm looking for a 23-26 foot dual axle, probably not a
vintage trailer at this point but something in the 70's) I'm wondering if
there are any basic guidelines/knowledge as to preferable years (ie., are
early 70's more preferable than late 70's) and layout (ie., the mid-bath
versus rear bath situation; how widespread is the problem of taildroop/body
stress?).   I know these questions have probably been asked numerous times
by novices such as myself but any input would be appreciated!
