Hmm, don't know whether this is relevant (or still timely) but anyway:

Our 1978 Argosy MH has a foldout table on the curb side.  The support leg pulls
out beyond the edge of the table, as if there were a leaf to insert ... and then
you unfold the table in two steps, first the two halves of the table top flip
forward and backward (watch your fingers, there are STRONG springs at work) and
then the whole thing flips toward the street side.  You end up with a table that
will seat 5, two on the swivel chairs and three on the sofa opposite.

There is a little spring-loaded latch (a small wire hook) which holds the table
from flopping open while travelling.  It hooks into a little brass tube set into
the upper, foldout portion of the table.  If that tube falls out (which it is
prone to do) the hook will not hold very well in the particle board from which
the table is made.

My own little tube, which I was carefully saving to re-install with a dab of
epoxy glue, was thrown away by a tidy-minded but unthinking visitor ... and I
have not yet found a replacement.  Presumably it is a standard grommet of some
kind, made for some other purpose altogether, but where to look?
